For diabetic and pre-diabetic patients, we employ an advanced wide angle camera called OPTOS, so Dr. P can show and discuss the status of the vulnerable micro blood vessels of the retinal neurotissue. The camera uses magnification and layered filters to better uncover early stages of the disease. Dr. P has been complimented on the thorough discussion of findings which helps patients make best decisions for improved health.
Further, Temecula Eye Center may employ advanced OCT imaging to envision retinal cross sections for the presence of pathology.
